Community of Worshippers and Worshipping Community Calculator
Using diocesan and national Church criteria, this Excel spreadsheet is designed to calculate parish Community of Worshippers (CofW) data, used to determine parish donations to the Common Mission Fund, and Worshipping Community data for national data submissions. Data can be anonymised using a reference number.
Worked Example
Here is an example of how to use the calculator. If you wish to start with this version, please carefully follow the instructions for clearing data – item 9 on the ‘instructions’ sheet. Otherwise, download the blank version above.

Budget Donations Calculator
This straightforward Excel spreadsheet provides a way of quickly calculating the monthly and quarterly costs of items of expenditure, and the weekly surplus or shortfall of income before and after donations. Monthly and weekly costs can be used to demonstrate the impact of financial giving for donors who prefer to envisage their donations in practical terms. The spreadsheet has a separate column for new donations to demonstrate the impact of donations pledged, perhaps during a ‘stewardship campaign’. The spreadsheet is set up to print on one page.
