Thirteen members of the church family, aged from 11 to 93 years old, were confirmed recently during a special morning at Christchurch Priory.
The church welcomed The Right Reverend Geoff Annas, Honorary Bishop in the Diocese of Winchester, who led the service alongside Interim Vicar, Reverend Richard Partridge.

Church member Sally Hill said, “The beautiful voices of the adult and children’s choirs added to the celebration, filling the Priory with warmth, joy and uplifting music as we marked this important milestone. It was a truly memorable service, filled with faith, fellowship and the joy of being part of our wonderful church community.”
Revd Richard said the confirmation candidates had powerful testimonies to share.

“Two of the group have been attending services before their marriage which is taking place in Christchurch Priory. One has had to flee their native country due to persecution and has been worshipping with us for a year now and two have taken the lead on running our junior Church on a Sunday morning, all 13 have joined us within the last year and a half. It was a Spirit Led Service, full of joy, anticipation and prayer.”
