Parish Safeguarding Officer Induction Training

The Parish Safeguarding Officer Induction pathway equips learners with an understanding of the role of the Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) and inducts them into key working practices and relationships. The induction consists of a 3-hour session, delivered as face-to-face training, by the Diocese Safeguarding team. It also provides an opportunity to meet with other Parish Safeguarding Officers.

Participants should have completed Basic Awareness and Foundation courses before completing this induction.

Parish Safeguarding Officer Events

On Wednesday 28 October 2026, Parish Safeguarding Officers are invited to our annual PSO Conference, which will include guest speakers, updates, and an opportunity to network. A light lunch is provided. Further details to follow – watch this space!
