BPP Taster Sessions

Do you have a love for God’s word? Do you feel a call to build up God’s people through preaching? If so, the BPP training programme might be for you.
The Bishop’s Permission to Preach (BPP) programme will be opening for applications for the 2027-2028 academic year towards the end of the year. BPP training runs annually from September to the following July.
To find out more about the BPP programme, which will start in September 2027, you’re invited to attend one of two taster sessions. These will provide information about the training content and structure and give you the opportunity to explore whether it might be right for you. There will also be plenty of time to ask any questions you may have. We are holding two taster sessions, covering the same material so you’ll only need to attend one of them.
- The first session will be online (Zoom), Monday 2 Nov, 7.00 – 8.30 pm
- Alternatively, you can attend in-person on Wednesday 4th November at the diocesan offices, 2.00-3.30pm.
