“His Church Is Marching On: Race, Faith And The Gospel Of Belonging”
What does it mean for the Church to be truly diverse, welcoming, and shaped by the Gospel?
Drawing on Scripture, Black Theology, lived experience, and biblical film, this keynote talk given by Victoria Omotoso, Lecturer, Author & Public Speaker, challenges us to examine how race, faith, and cultural identity intersect within the life of the Church. Through the stories of Peter and Paul, contemporary reflections on belonging, and insights from visual portrayals of Jesus, we are invited to consider how culture shapes our understanding of faith, community, and one another.
The session offers a vision for churches that is both prophetic and practical, for those seeking to engage racial justice, foster genuine belonging, and reflect more fully God’s kingdom of every tribe, language, people, and nation.
