Families Minister – Sherborne with the Pambers

Sherbornes with Pamber Churches are excited to recruit a Christ-like, gifted and inspiring Minister to work with them as they seek to make the most of the growing opportunities they’re seeing to connect with families across the local community, share God’s love and help them to grow in faith in Jesus.

Your Role

• Develop, adapt and grow the current ministries that connect with families across the parish.
• Lead new initiatives that will help Sherbornes with Pamber Churches to build relationships with more families who live in the local area.
• Build on current connections with the schools in the parish.
• Co-ordinate and help Sherbornes with Pamber Churches to creatively reshape church services that draw families from the wider community (e.g. Easter, Harvest, Remembrance & Christmas).
• Encourage and equip the wider church family to share the good news of Jesus with families.
• Establish accessible ways for families to explore faith including with those who come for baptism.
• Lead the Sunday provision for families and explore how it might be adapted to better serve the wider church vision.
• Oversee all-age worship services – leading, teaching and enabling others to grow in using their gifts.
• Encourage, equip and pray for Sherbornes with Pamber Churches’ current children, young people and families and those involved in ministry with them.
